Deloitte Announced Another Round Of Layoff

Deloitte, a leading global professional services network, has announced plans to lay off 180 employees within its UK advisory division.

Sources familiar with the situation indicate that the job cuts will affect staff across various areas, including the strategy, risk and transactions divisions, as well as the technology and transformation division. Notably, these losses represent less than 1% of Deloitte's total UK workforce and are still subject to consultation.

This decision came as a part of a broader global reorganisation aimed at consolidating its business units, reducing them from five to four: audit and assurance; strategy, risk, and transactions; technology and transformation; and tax and legal.

Further, it's worth mentioning that last year the firm also announced a reduction of 800 jobs, and this year in February, around 100 employees were laid off.
